Matthew founded Painting Paisley Recordings, a mobile recording service for musicians back in early 2010. The concept was simple – to give an alternative solution to expensive studio recording. The business has since grown, aiding musicians throughout the country develop their demo ideas into finished works.
Painting Paisley Recordings offer an alternative to expensive studio recording, using an industry standard mobile recording setup. We offer the best recording service to our clients who are on a budget, helping you achieve the high quality recording, mix & master you are looking for while staying at an affordable price.
Painting Paisley Recordings will travel to your rehearsal or recording space with their own high quality gear, record your session on location, mix your music & deliver a final mix at a very competitive rate.
RECORDING.
Depending on your requirements, we can provide our services for most situations. Whether you are a solo singer-songwriter, full band or choir & whether you want a live recording, multi-tracked recording with overdubs, or a mixture of both, we can help. You will have an experienced engineer present for the whole of the recording process included free of charge.
MIXING.
After all of your tracks have been recorded, they will be mixed off premises within one week of recording by one of our mix engineers & producers. You will then receive a pre-mastered or mastered mix of your tracks in the highest quality .wav/.aiff formats, as well as .mp3 for instant uploading to all of your social & other online media. We can also organise instrumental & a cappella versions of mixes if you need.
MASTERING.
“Where the magic happens” is often what is said about mastering & it is almost right. At Painting Paisley Recordings, it is our final step to add the shine & clarity heard in modern-day mixes. It is where a great mix can become a great master & stand up alongside high-end costing tracks at a competitive volume level.
